Peacefully, at her residence, London on Thursday, February 6, 2025, Maria Jose Camara in her 83rd year. 

Beloved wife of the late Jose Camara (2022) for 56 years. Dear mother of Nicole (Nemesio) Goulart, John Camara and Jimmy (Tania) Camara. 

Loving grandmother of Sarah (Scott), Jason, Skye (Nathan), Jordan, Nikki, Athena, Iliana, Layla, Julien and great-grandmother of Luna. 

Cherised sister of Tiago De Lima (Maria deceased), Nicolina Benfeito (Humberto deceased), Manuel Lima ( Ester), Esmeralda Branco (Manuel deceased), the late Joe Lima (Irene) and Jack Lima (Zita). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. 

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to St. Elizabeth for the wonderful care of mom. Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. 

The Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Chapel of the O’Neil Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Lucio Couto , on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., followed by entombment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. Rosary at 10:30 a.m. prior to the Funeral Service.
