MACHADO - Maria Lourdes Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, with family and friends at her side, Maria Lourdes Machado passed away in her 88th year at her residence in Glendale Crossing. Proud mother of Sister De Fatima Simoes of St. Agatha, Rui (Jorge) Cabral and Ana (Dan) Alden both of London. Proud grandmother of Paulo Cabral, Nuno Cabral, Christopher Cabral, Micheal Alden and Chantel Alden all of London, and great-grandmother of three. Also survived by two brothers and three sisters in Acores, Portugal and Winnipeg. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church (Elm St. at Hamilton Rd.) on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Entombment St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.
