Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 with her family at her side Maria Medeiros in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Antonio Raposo Medeiros (1997). Loving mother of Etelvina Teves (Joao), Antonio Resendes (Fatima), Maria Fernandes (Antonio), Fernanda Paiva, Augusto Raposo (Silvina), Silvina Medeiros (Luis) and Fatima Medeiros (Jose). Dear grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Survived by her brothers Antonio Resendes (Paulina) and Manuel Resendes (Estrela). Predeceased by her infant daughter Silvina, son-in-law Joao Paiva (1985) and sisters Rosalina and Etelvina. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Thursday, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church(Hamilton Rd and Elm St.) on Friday at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.
