REGO, Maria (da Luz) - Peacefully, at Marian Villa, Mt. Hope, London, on Saturday, May 18, 2013, Maria da Luz Rego in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Mariano Rego "O Ribeirinha" (2000). Loving mother of Minda Meyer (Carl) and Darlene Soares (Manuel). Dear step-sister of Jaime Sousa (Mary Jo). Adoring grandmother of Laurie Low (Gord), Jennifer Romao, Amy Romao (Michael Stark) and Lisa Blay (Nathan). Proud Great-Vovo of Evan, Madelyn, Gabriel, Winston, Jacob, Julia and Nicholas. Mom's treasured times was with family, friends and Bailey. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London, on Tuesday, May 28th, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., to be followed by the Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated in St. Michael's Church (Maitland at Cheapside), London, at 1:30 p.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery, London.
