At McGarrell Place Nursing Home, London, on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, Maria Schembri in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Espedito C.J. Schembri (1976). Dear mother of Nazareno Schembri and Carmen Turnbull (Richard). Loving grandmother of Maria Benjaminsen (Michael), Nazareno Schembri (Cheri), Angela Schembri (Daniel), Amelia Schembri (Louis), Joseph Turnbull (Mattea), and Matthew and Teresa Turnbull. Great-grandmother of Brandon and Amanda. Predeceased by 14 brothers and sisters and her daughter-in-law Irene Stephanie (2006). Visitors will be received on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. London, where the Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.
