Peacefully, surrounded by her loving husband and family, at University Hospital, London, on Tuesday, August 16, 2011, Maria Do Carmo (Rodrigues) Simoes in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Manuel Ferreira Simoes. Dear mother of Aldina Amaral (Tony), Maria Lourdes Rodrigues (Jose), Joao Simoes (Maria), Ormezinda Simoes and Margaret Sa (Albano). Loving grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of six. Also survived by her brothers Manuel Rodrigues (Ligia) and Francisco Ferreira (Maria). Predeceased by her brothers Antonio, Jose and Armando. Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church, (Elm at Hamilton Rd) on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Entombment St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.
