Surrounded by her loving family and after a long struggle, Mary May (Flynn) Hegarty, at Victoria Hospital on Friday, August 15, 2008 in her 77th year. Beloved wife of Peter Hegarty and dear mother of Anne Marie Darling (husband Andrew). Loving grandmother of Meghan and Mikayla. Sister of Catherine Winnifred Auksi (Martin) and Sally Paterson. Loved and missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Scotland. Predeceased by her son Michael (1973) and her brother Joseph Flynn. Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Mary Immaculate Church (Trafalgar & Admiral Dr.). Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday at 8:45 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
