MOIR - Sister Mary William (Grace)
of the community of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Diocese of London died peacefully on Saturday, March 5th , 2011 at the residence of the Sisters of St. Joseph. Sister was in her 95th year and 70th year of religious life. She is lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law Tony Fitzmaurice of London as well as many nieces and nephews and the members of her religious community. Predeceased by her parents Milas Moir and Catherine Brophy formerly of Culross Twp; her sisters Mary Dales, Anne Stahlbrodt, Winnie Moir, Josephine Moore, Sister Eleanore CSJ, Ada Fitzmaurice and Jean Bauer. Sister spent 36 years as an educator in Leamington, London, Sarnia and Windsor. Upon retirement, she spent her time visiting the sick and elderly in Ingersoll and as pastoral visitor at Marian Villa in London. She had a special gift to reach out in love and compassion to others, especially the poor.All services for Sister will be held at the residence of the Sisters of St. Joseph, 485 Windermere Rd., London. Visitation from 2:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2011Wake Service, Monday, March 7, at 7:00 p.m.Mass of the Resurrection on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London, Ontario.
