Peacefully, on the afternoon of June 18th, 2011 with her family at her side, Mary "May"Philomina (nee: Wall) Nother in her 82nd year, offered her soul to God. Survived by her beloved husband James Nother in their 57th year of marriage. Dear mother of Paul (Karen), James Jr. (Gloria), Liam ( Liz), John (Bryan), Michelle (Brent), and Cheryle. Loving Grandmother of eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Alice and Bernie (Michael) of California, Vera of England and brother Tony (Kay) of England. Predeceased by her brothers Michael, Paddy, Sandy, and Sister Bertha. Survived by seven brother-in-laws and eight sister-in-laws. May was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1930 and was married and emigrated to London, Ontario, Canada in 1955 where she resided and raised her family. She was a pillar in both her family and community and will be sadly missed by all. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Friday, June 24, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friends are invited to meet at Holy Family Parish Church, 777 Valetta St., on Saturday morning where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Friday at 2:00 p.m. The family wishes to thank the team at University Hospital Emergency Department for their excellent care and compassion during this difficult time, also the staff of the McCormick Home for their loving care.
