Michael Joseph Murray

Unexpectedly, on Friday August 27th, surrounded by all of his children who loved him dearly, Michael passed peacefully from this world into the arms of Jesus. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Connie, he is survived by his children John O'Hare (Elisa), Patrick O'Hare (Linda), Mike O'Hare (Rose), Anna Young (Mark), Catherine Pizzuti (Gabe), Maureen O'Hare -Vedova (Craig), and Ted O'Hare (Mandy) (deceased). Michael was a beloved Grandfather to Brian, Kevin, Jamie, Elizabeth, Lindsay, Sean, Lauren, Katelyn, Meaghan, Morgan, Tricia, John-Morgan, Matthew and Mary-Kate, as well as 8 great grandchildren. A native of Ireland, Michael was born on March 7, 1942 in Carrick on Suir, County Tipperary. He was a beloved brother to Mary, Eileen, Breda, Kay, Stella, Patricia, Al, Tom, James and William. He was a passionate lifelong learner, whose natural curiosity and love of vigorous debate facilitated endless family discussions. We will miss him beyond measure. As he cared for us, may he be cared for in heaven. We would like to deeply thank the amazing medical staff of University Hospital's Emergency, Medicine and ICU units. They were compassionate, attentive and deeply committed to giving Mike the best level of care possible. We will be forever grateful. Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William
Street, London on Wednesday, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church (Dundas at Oakland Ave.) on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.

Those who wish to attend the Funeral Mass, there are limited spaces available and you must preregister with full name and phone number. Registrations can be taken by phone during business hours of 9:00 am - 4:00 pm at 519-432-7136 (Please note we cannot accept phone registrations past 4:00 p.m.) or registration can be done by email at any time at ofh@start.ca
