Nicola Causarano

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital London, on Saturday, January 2, 2016 Nicola "Nick" Causarano in his 82nd year. Loving father of Mario and Pat (Kathy). Nonnino of Derek (Karen), Bryan, Natalie, Jason and Danielle. Survived by his sisters Lidia Phares (Robert) and Romilde (Ada) Causarano-LoVarco (Joe). Uncle of Danielle Powell, Luigi (Gino) Phares (Cindy) and Mariagrazia Rasia (Stefano). Great uncle of Adam, Michael (Magda), Robert, Marc, Paul, Jessica and Giammarco. Nephew of Zia Maria. He will also be missed by Antonietta, Joanie, Linda, Gene and extended family in Italy. Predeceased by his parents Luigi and Adriana, his sisters Rosella (Gino) and Rina and his long time partner Margot (2013). Nick was a long time employee of the London District Catholic School Board, a member of the Marconi and Sicilian Clubs and known to be a talented carpenter. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the chapel at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to extend their thanks to the LTC - Para Transit, Dr. Dieter Bruckschwaiger, Dr. Palma, nurses and staff at Victoria Hospital.
