Peacefully, with her family by her side, at University Hospital, London, on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, Norbina Vieira de Melo Soares in her 87th year went to be with the Lord our God. Beloved wife of the late Eduardo Soares-Andre (2009). Dear mother of Marta Soares-Serras (Frank), Lucia De Melo, Donna Mendes (Victor), Eduardo Soares (Heather), Alice Soares and Joe Soares. Loving grandmother of Shawn Mendes, Whitney Mendes, Brandon Mendes, Ashley Mendes, Donovan Serras, Brendon Soares-Coddington, Matthew Soares-Coddington, Amber Soares, Ethan Soares, Jessica Soares, Mark Soares and great-grandmother of Paula, Jessie and Wyatt. Cherished sister of Elmira Moniz (Armindo), Urania Amaral (Eugenio) and Marta Ferreira (Donald). Predeceased by her grandchildren Mark and Leslie de Melo, great-grandchild Aaliyah Morris and her siblings David de Melo, Sam de Melo, Lidia de Melo, Joe de Melo and Maria de Carmo Emiliano. Norbina will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted in the chapel of the O'Neil Funeral Home on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London.
