Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital, London, on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, Oliviel Machado in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Lorena Machado. Dear father of Ida Mendonca (Jose), Connie da Silva (Jose), Margaret Salvador (Jose), Cecilia Rahaman (Shazam), Natalie Leite (Carlos) and Fatima Camara (Valdemar). Vavo to 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his son-in-law Joe Couto. Predeceased by his daughter Mary Ellen Couto (2001). Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Holy Cross Church,10 Elm St. at Hamilton Rd. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation www.cbcf.org in memory of Mary Ellen Couto.
