Peacefully, at Kensington Retirement Village, on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, Osvaldo Medeiros Baptista in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Antonia Felix De Melo Baptista for 50 years. Dear father of Philomena Baptista, Roy Baptista (Mandy) and Grace Baptista. Loving grandfather of Nicole and Justin Marcovecchio and Gabriela, Oliva and Alex Baptista and great-grandfather of Liam Marcovecchio. Also survived by his brother-in-law Artur De Melo (Ilda) and his sisters-in-law Orana Catunto, Monica Rafeiro and Lourdes De Melo. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all the Doctors, nursing staff and everyone at Kensington Retirement Village for the care and compassion shown to our father. A special thank you to Paul and Brenda Hicks for the special care given to our dad and to the London Portuguese Bakery. The Funeral and interment service in St. Peter's Cemetery, London, will be held privately. Arrangements to honour his life will be held at a later date.
