Patrick William Currie

Peacefully at his home in London with a brew in his hand and his family by his side, on Saturday, August 3, 2024, Patrick William Currie in his 85th year.   Loving husband of Joan (Wendell) Currie.    Cherished father of Kevin, Sean, Terence (Miran), Ned (Theresa) and Doris Kayte Currie, all of London.   Treasured Grumpa of Madeleine Currie of Waterloo, Miles Townshend, Maxwell, Keira, Jeannie and Jonah Currie, all of London.

Survived by his beloved sister M. Jean Currie of Ottawa as well as a multitude of brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.Predeceased by his parents Ed Currie (1958) and Doris VanDoorinck (Currie) (1997), brother Terence Currie (2019), daughter Patti-Anne (1973), granddaughter Avery Townshend (2003) and the London City Press Club (2011).

Visitors will be received on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London.The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Dundas St. at Oakland Ave, on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Private interment at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to Participation House, 620 Colborne St, London, ON N6B 3R9, ( www.phsscommunity.com ), or Dearness Day Program, 710 Southdale Road, London, ON, N6E 1R9
