Peacefully with his family by his at side at McCormick Home, London, on Sunday, January 11, 2015, Pawel (Paul) Trybus in his 89th year. Beloved husband and best friend for 62 years of Stanislawa (Stella). Loving father of Helena Jachimowicz (Andrew), Krystyna Pasierbek (John), Anna Prebushewski (Nick), Peter Trybus (Yoko Yamada) and Barbara Trybus. Cherished grandfather of David and Krystyna Jachimowicz, Janene Raven (Philip), Katrina, Megan and Nick Pasierbek, Elizabeth, Catherine and Amy Prebushewski and Kohana Trybus. Dear uncle of Damian and Dorothy Trybus, Liz and Stefan Latuszak and Adam and Yogi Soboczynski. Predeceased by his brothers Wiktor and Stanislaw in Poland. Also survived by many family members in England and Poland. Pawel was a WWII Polish veteran. He met Stanislawa in England where they married in 1952 and then moved to Canada in 1957. Pawel was a very loving, kindhearted and caring husband, father and grandfather - a true gentleman. His family was always the most important focus of his life. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, (419 Hill St.) on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. Donations in Pawel's memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Ontario (www.alzheimerontario.ca) or to the Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy (www.ofcp.ca) would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at McCormick Home for their loving care and compassionate support during the past few years. This truly was a "home away from home" for Pawel and his family.
