Pelagia Nawrocki

Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care, London, Pelagia "Polly" Nawrocki in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Stanislaw "Stan" Nawrocki (1981). Dear mother of Peter Nawrocki (Lela). Loving grandmother of Mark. Pelagia was born in Bukownice, Poland on November 11, 1924. After surviving WWll as a young girl, she immigrated to Canada in 1954 and lived in London, Ontario the rest of her life. She was a strong, religious and very independent woman who loved gardening and going to Sunday Mass. Polly will be missed by her family and friends. Many thanks to the care team at Mount Hope Long Term Care for their unwavering compassion and medical care, especially to the dedicated 1st floor nursing staff. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill St., on Saturday at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London.
