Peacefully, at University Hospital on Thursday, January 29, 2009, Peter Francis Rowan in his 74th year. Beloved husband of the late Gloria Alice (Sims) Rowan (1995). Dear father of Peter Rowan (Bonnie), Nancy Rowan, Karen Humphrey, Angela Armstrong (Glen), Martha Rowan and Jennifer Sutton (Thomas). Survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Nancy Rowan. Predeceased by Gene Cramer, Virginia O'Drowsky, Patrick Rowan and Denys Perkin. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. on Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Church (Maitland at Cheapside) on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Friday at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
