Raffaele Di liello

It is with profound sadness that the family of Raffaele (Ralph) Di Liello announces his passing. Peacefully and with grace, Ralph was called home, on Monday, November 1, 2021. He was 84 years old. Ralph, was predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Maria Mattea Di Liello (Cimone) and his Sister Marta Maddalena and brother in law Giuseppe Sauro. He is survived by his devoted wife Ruth Mary (Park) . He was beloved father to his children Vincent Di Liello (Maria Luisa Contursi) and Lisa Hodgins (Joel) and was a loving Nonno (grandfather) to Isabella, Adrianna, Lyndsey and Sabrina. Ralph will be missed by the extended Park family, by his cousin Maddalena Di Liello and his extensive Sauro family and friends. The Sauro families, their children and grandchildren held a special place in his heart. His friends and family here in London were dear to him and he treasured their friendships. Ralph was a devoted parishioner of St. Mary's Church, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and for over 50 years was the head usher. Those who attended Sunday Service were greeted with his beautiful smile and warm welcome.
Ralph will be remembered for his joyous spirit. He loved to dance and sing and derived so much joy celebrating with his family. He was filled with such effervescence and his legacy will live on in the hearts of his community, his friends, his family and his grandchildren who adored him. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. and 6- 8 p.m. At the family's request those attending the visitation at the funeral home are required to be double vaccinated. Proof of vaccination and photo identification will be required. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle at York, on Saturday, November 6 at 10:00 a.m. followed by entombment at St. Peter's Cemetery, London. As per COVID -19 regulations, all visitors must wear a mask, maintain physical distancing, and provide their name and contact information for contact tracing at both the funeral home and the church upon arrival. You need only come to the front door, show proof of vaccination, then sign in. We are NOT taking any appointments or bookings for visitation as they are not required.
