Raffaelle Megaro

Peacefully, at University Hospital, London, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, with his family by his side, Raffaelle Megaro in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Angiolina Megaro (2014). Dear father of Rocco Megaro (Kathy). Loving Nonno of Peter Megaro of Fort Myers, Florida, Angie Megaro-Martin (Paul), Maria Barbon (Lorenzo) and Lisa Bamford (Steve) all of London and forever remembered and missed by his great-grandchildren Rachel, Luke, Julia, Sarah, Troy, Erika, Colin, Jacob and Cassie. Also missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Raffaelle was born in Calabritto, Italy and the family immigrated to Canada in 1958, leaving a small house and olive trees behind. He and Angiolina worked in the laundry at St. Mary’s Hospital for over 30 years. Family, the garden, cards and visits back home to Italy made life “Another day in Paradise.” Papa, Nonno we will miss you. Rest in peace.
