Rafic Tanios Abi-khalil

Peacefully, with his family by his side, at Victoria Hospital, London, on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, Rafic Tonios Abi-Khalil in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Asmahane Abi-Khalil. Dear father of Lily Eugenio (Victor), Marie Abourjeili (Emile), Elie (Tammy) and Anthony. Loving grandfather of Tristan, Chanel, Mikayla, Tony, Thomas, Marcus, Matthew, Evan and Marcus. Cherished brother of Sr. Adelina, Adib (Ula) and Sami (Hala). Predeceased by his parents-in-law Youssef and Shafika Farhat and his daughter -in-law Lirika. Rafic, a man of honour and faith lived a strong and adventurous life in Lebanon, especially in the Bekaa Valley where he met the love of his life Asmahane. He channeled his passion to become a Master Tile Setter and immigrated to London, Ontario with his wife and children in 1974. Rafic loved spending time with his family more than anything else. He cherished his time at the church where he proudly volunteered tiling and singing with the choir. He loved working in his precious garden. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Elias Maronite Catholic Parish, 267 Adelaide St. S. on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., followed by entombment in St. Peter's Cemetery and Holy Family Mausoleum, London.
