Robert Monk

Peacefully at his residence in London on April 2, 2021, Robert Eugene Monk, 84, known affectionally to his family as "Uncle Bob", in his 85th year of life.
He is remembered and mourned by his sister, Anna Marie (Monk) Bucy, his seventeen nieces and nephews, and their families.
Uncle Bob will be joining his brothers Donald (Grace), Ronald (Joan), and David (June), as well as his long-time companion, Mary Lou.

A soft-spoken London native, Uncle Bob explored love and life at his own pace and committed himself to his work and extended family. A dependable staff member at Marion Villa and welcome addition to any family function, Bob's gentle nature and good humour will be missed. Not one to turn down a dinner invitation, Bob always showed up looking his best and never empty-handed. Family dinners and holidays will not be the same without him.

Due to the restrictions of covid 19, a private family service followed by cremation has already taken place. A public celebration of his life will be held at a future date when friends and family can safely come together to honour his memory.
