It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Ruth Price, on Tuesday June 30, 2009. She was in her 86th year when she left us, peacefully surrounded by her family at LHSC Critical Care Trauma Centre, London. Ruth was predeceased by her husband George (2002), her parents Jessie and Martin Bester and her brothers Gerald, John, Clare and Martin. She will be greatly missed by her children Lynn Dale, Terry (Cheryl), Tim (Monica), and Lori Hodgert (D’Arcy) and her grandchildren Ashley Dale, Melissa, Brittany and Kailey Mago and Graham Price. Her surviving brothers, Dan and Jim Bester (Stella) and sisters-in-law Bess Walker and Dorothy Bester also share our loss. Visitation will take place on Friday, July 3, 2009 in the O’Neill Funeral Home, 350 William St., from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 -9:00 pm. The Funeral Mass honouring Ruth’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, July 4, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. in Mary Immaculate Church, (Trafalgar St., at Admiral Dr.) London. Private entombment St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. We wish to thank the staff of the Emergency Department and the Critical Care Trauma Centre, LHSC Victoria Hospital, Commissioners Rd., for the exceptional care they gave to our mother. Thanks also to our Mom’s very special friends Gary and Elaine Duncan, Ruth Madziak and Hazel and Bill Cleary who were always there for her. We don’t know what we would have done without you.
