With great sadness we announce the passing of Seraphine (Sera) Henrika Vermeir (nee:Baele) in her 98th year, at University Hospital, London, on Monday, October 18, 2010. Devoted wife of the late Constant Vermeir. Beloved mother of Jack Vermeir (Kay), and the late Rosette Temmerman (Peter). Cherished “meme” of Kathy (Brian), Rita (Hal), Gary (Angela), Gail (John Patrick), Michael, Susan (Abbey), Debbie (Paul), and Anita (Mark). Greatest great-grandmother of Nicole, Jonathon, Sarah, Garett, Calista, Jessica, Taylor, Charlie, Dylan, Erica, Evan, Laura-Beth, Ella, Max, Liam and Caeley. Also survived by her sister Mary Baele of Belgium. Sincere thanks to the direct care staff who provided love, friendship and care while Sera called Kensington Retirement Residence her home. Thanks also to the staff of University Hospital for their kindness and care while Sera was with them. A private family service with the Rev.
