Sergio Rodrigues Silveira

Sergio Silveira passed away peacefully with his loved ones at his side on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Parkwood Institute, Complex Care in London, Ontario. He was in his 89th year. Born in Lajedo, Flores, Açores to Amelia and Joao Silveira. Beloved husband of Maria Silveira for 66 years. Loving father of Joe Silveira (Linda) and Lina Martins (Emanuel). Cherished brother of Joao (Luciana), Maria (Joaquim), Joaquina (Albano), Candida (Jose), Lina (Manuel), Evelina (James), Jose (Maria), Germano (Maria), and Amelia (Antonio). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church, 377 Oakland Ave. at Dundas St. on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Friday at 6:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to LHSC University Hospital, Parkwood Institute or SE Health. The family would like to thank all the healthcare providers who cared for Sergio throughout his journey.
