Shirley Ellen marie Wunder

With thankfulness for her life we mourn the passing of Shirley Ellen Marie Wunder (nee: Fagan) in her 85th year, at home in London on August 27, 2015, following a courageous struggle with cancer. Shirley was born in London, Ontario, on June 27, 1931, the daughter of the late Edith (1943) and Louis Fagan (1987), and was predeceased by her loving husband Rhodes Patrick Wunder (1986) and her brother Albert Fagan (1970). Shirley is survived by her son Father Michael and daughter Mitzie (Anthony), and grandchildren Matthew (Krissy), Scott (Megan) and Megan. Mom treasured her faith, family and friends and was known for her loving thoughtfulness in remembering and honouring even the smallest occasion. Our family wishes to thank the many health care professionals for their care and concern throughout Mom's illness. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, (350 William Street) on Tuesday, September 2nd, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Age and years have seen Mom's large circle of friends and family go before her, so it was Mom's wish that the day of her funeral she have prayers (on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home), followed by a simple burial beside Dad at Saint Peter's Cemetery, followed by the Gregorian Masses offered for her soul for the next 30 days. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Precious Blood Sisters (301 Ramsay Road, London, Ontario, N6G 1N7) or Saint Peter's Seminary (1040 Waterloo Street, London, Ontario, N6A 3Y1) would be appreciated.
