Silvino de Almeida Gadelho

Silvino de Almeida Gadelho, age 72, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was a devoted husband to Lucia Ferreira, father to Cristina (Jorge), Dora, Andre (Yolanda), grandfather to Linda, Tania, Bianca, Breeana, Baylee, Abbigale and Miguel, a cherished member of his community, and a source of strength and kindness to all who knew him.

Born on May 15, 1952 in Carapelhos, Portugal. Silvino lived a life full of love, dedication, and hard work. He was known for his generosity and sense of humour. He loved baking (queijadas) for his family and friends. He loved to take care of his garden especially his garlic. Above all, family was the center of his world.

Visitations will be held on Monday, March 17th from  3pm to 7 pm in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London. 

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday,  March 18th at 11am in Holy Cross Church, London.  

 Silvino loved going to Portugal to visit home every summer and as per his wishes, he will be buried in his home town of Carapelhos, Portugal at a later date. 

Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate his life.
