Sister Julie Ann Rocheleau entered Eternal Life in the peace of the Lord and the hope of Resurrection at the Hamilton Precious Blood Monastery on March 16, 2025, in the 86thyear of her life and the 66th year of her religious profession ofVows. She is predeceased by her parents, Eugene Rocheleau and Lucia Rocheleau. She is survived by her siblings, Gloria Langlois and Sister Janine Rocheleau, SNJM,and her nieces, Mary Elizabeth and Stephanie, her nephew,David and their families who mourn her passing.
Born in Windsor, ON, on March 7, 1940 Sister Julie Ann entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Precious Blood on October 14th 1956, and made her First Profession on October 15th, 1959, in London, Ontario. For the last few years, in her failing health, and needed more care. Her quiet presence was a blessing to our Hamilton Community, who witnessed her peaceful surrender in union with Christ.
Visitation and vigil prayers will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Monastery of the Sisters of the Precious Blood, 154 Northcliffe Avenue, Dundas, ON,L9H 7L9. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at the monastery, with Father Stanley Nwokeji presiding. Immediately following the Mass,interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Burlington, ON.
