Sister Marion Ursula Dandeno entered Eternal Life in the peace of the Lord and the hope of Resurrection at the Hamilton Precious Blood Monastery on April 21, 2025, in the 83rd year of her life and the 64th year of her religious profession of Vows. She is predeceased by her parents, Frederick J. Dandeno and Marion Cooney, her sister Mairi Bright, her brother Andrew and her step-mother, Margaret. She is survived by her siblings, Kathleen Pasquini (Henry), Mark Dandeno, Anne Krauskopf and Deirdre Fortune (Ray) and 11 nieces and nephews spread across Canada, United States and England.
Born in London, ON, on June 29, 1942, Sister Marion Ursula entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Precious Blood on October 16, 1958. She made her First Profession in London, Ontario on October 15, 1961. For the last few years, in her failing health, she came to our Hamilton Infirmary for care. Sister Ursula was a happy person with a good sense of humour. Her quiet presence was a blessing to our Hamilton Community, who witnessed her peaceful surrender in union with Christ.
