Stanislawa Ciucka

At Victoria Hospital, London, on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, Stanislawa passed away peacefully in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Jan Ciucka (1996). Dear mother of Mirus Ciucka and his wife Halina of London. She will be sadly missed by family in Poland. Born in Poland, Stan spent the war years at forced labour in Austria and Germany. In Italy she reunited with Jan and they married in 1946. The next few years were spent in England, until finally the family settled in London. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Monday, April 25, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill St., on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Monday at 7:00 p.m.
