Stanislawa "Stella" Rzeszutko

It is with deeply saddened hearts we share with you the passing of our mother and babcia, Stanislawa, who passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, November 17, 2023 with her family by her side.  Beloved wife of the late Tadeusz “Ted” Rzeszutko (1994).  Loving mother of John (Jacqueline), Bozena (Greg Andersen), and Renata.  Cherished Babcia of Alyson, Adam (Juana), Derek, Erik and Lauren.  As the youngest in her family, Stanislawa is survived by her dear sister Maria Krol of Hamilton.  Loving Ciocia to many nieces and nephews and their families, both in Canada and Poland.

Stella worked first at London Life and then the University of Western Ontario taking pride in her work where she enjoyed going the extra mile for “her students”.  Stanislawa enjoyed time with her family, spending time in the kitchen and attending Sunday Mass where she had her regular seat.  She was a long-standing member of both the Polish National Association and the Our Lady of Czestochowa Ladies Church Auxiliary where for many decades you could find her helping in the kitchen.  She was renown for her cabbage rolls, pierogies and rogaliki throughout the community.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Estela and Connie for their loving and compassionate care provided.  She was fiercely stubborn, independent, and determined right to the end in spite of her many health challenges.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday, November 19, 2023  from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London.   Prayers Sunday at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill St., London, on Monday, November 20, at 12:00 Noon, followed by Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.
