Stephen Jr. Shane Claude Lorefice

Stephen Lorefice passed away unexpectedly on November 8th at the age of 43. Our family was not expecting Stephen’s life to be cut so short so soon. We are all devastated by this huge loss and he will be forever missed. He was born with a naturally sweet and kind soul, a heart of gold, and a willingness to help others. These wonderful qualities were instilled in him by his forever loving parents. He grew up alongside his younger siblings; always outdoors fishing, hunting, biking and getting into trouble here and there. Stephen took pride in obtaining his welders tickets and enjoyed the craft he worked in. You could often find Stephen in his yard with Lise mending/building, gardening, or sitting by a fire where all were welcome to join him.

Stephen will always be remembered with much love by his heartbroken Mom and Dad: Marie Landry and Stephen Lorefice, Spouse: Lise Smith, Brother: Eric Lorefice and his wife Angie Lorefice, Sister: Theresa Corbitt and her husband Alex Corbitt, Sister: Danielle Landry, Step-Dad: Martin Pompies, Nieces: Jaden Lorefice, Kyla Lorefice, Amelia Corbitt, Charlotte Corbitt, and all of Stephen's Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends.

Having a brother means having someone to laugh with, fight with and make memories with.  We will cherish the moments we had with you and never forget your hearty laugh. May you find the peace and freedom that your adventurous, and loving soul deserves. Soar as high as an eagle, run as fast as a deer, and swim as far as a fish. Be free big brother.

Let us share with you one of Stephen’s favourite prayers.
Lord, we offer ourselves to thee, to build with us and to do with us as thou wilt. Relieve us of the bondage of self and some of this pain so that we may better do thy will. Amen! Lord, take away our difficulties, that victory over them may bear witness to those we would help of thy Power, thy Love and thy Way of life. Amen. We are looking forward to sharing the warmth of the sun on our faces tomorrow with you and your company. Goodnight.
