At the Residence of the Sisters of St. Joseph, on Monday, September 7, 2009, Sister Teresa (Wendelin) Roth of the Community of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Diocese of London in her 97th year and her 75th year of religious life. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and the Sisters of her religious community. Predeceased by her parents Wendelin Roth and Catherine McCormick, formerly of Wingham, her brothers: Daniel, Frank, John, Joseph, Harold and Innes, her sisters: Sister Henrietta OSU, Mrs. Mary Etue, and Sister Genevieve OP. Sister Teresa spent over 40 years as a music teacher in many convents throughout the Diocese of London as well as 5 years in Haney, B.C. She was well loved by her students, some of whom have kept in contact with her until the present day. All Services for Sister Teresa will be held at the Residence of the Sisters of St. Joseph, 485 Windermere Rd., London. Visitation will take place on Wednesday beginning at 2:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service held at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, September 10, at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery.
