Peacefully and surrounded by her family, on Tuesday September 21, 2010, after a long battle with cancer, Mary Theresa Lirette in her 79th year. Born in Prince Edward Island and predeceased by her husband Bob (2001). She leaves two daughters and a son, Dena Huysmans (John)of London, Michele Millington (Nigel) of Birr and Gregory Lirette (Tina) of London and her beloved grandchildren Tanya Hampton (Chris), Shannon Barbosa (Kevin), Paris and Zachary Millington, and Claire Lirette, and beloved great-grandchildren Abbey and Bryce Hampton. We will miss you Nana. Survived by her aunt Bessie Folland and many cousins in P.E.I. Visitors will be received on Thursday from 2:00 - -4:00 p.m. and 7:00 -9:00 p.m. in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. (south of King). The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Martin of Tours Church (Cathcart & Duchess) on Friday at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery. Prayers Thursday 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the London Regional Cancer Centre or the Make-A-Wish Foundation would be appreciated.
