Peacefully, at University Hospital, London, on Sunday, April 8, 2012, Virgilio Barbosa Lopes in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Julieta Lopes. Dear father of Helena Wiebe (Robert), Paulo Lopes (Laura) and Goretti Pernitzky (Gerard). Loving grandfather of Matthew, Kory Anne, Michael and Travis. Also survived by two sisters and many nieces and nephews. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Michael's Church (Cheapside at Maitland) on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Thursday at 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
