Peacefully, with his family by his side, at University Hospital, London, on Thursday, November 3, 2022, Vittorio “Victor” D’Onofrio in his 64th year.  Beloved husband of Mary D’Onofrio for 36 years.  Dear father of Antonella Pireddu (Andrea), Carla D’Onofrio (Chad), Elena McDowell (Matt) and Marco D’Onofrio (Olivia).  Loving Nonno of Liliana, Evelina, Emilio, Loretta, Valentina, Matilda and Gioia.  Cherished brother of Carmen D’Onofrio (Antonietta) of London, Michelangelo D’Onofrio of Italy, Maria Ricci of Switzerland and Rita Mastrantonio (Gino) of Germany.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews across the world.  Predeceased by his parents Emma and Michele D’Onofrio, his brothers Antonio D’Onofrio of Australia, Donato D’Onofrio and his sister Isabella Fusco of Italy. Victor will be missed by his dearest friends Gina and Bruno Castellani, Joe and Rose Elia, Anna and Francesco Pireddu, Rosa and Domenic Figliomeni, Simona and Vince Circelli, and many other friends in Canada and overseas.  Victor was an artistic, talented stone mason who worked many years with Kappeler Masonry and Contact Masonry.  Victor was a self sufficient hard working man.  When not at work he enjoyed spending time with all his grandchildren, watching his favourite soccer team Napoli while enjoying a cold beer.  Victor always placed his family and friends ahead of himself.  Visitors will be received in the O’Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St., London on Tuesday, November 8,  2022  from 2 - 4 p.m.  and 6 - 8 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s  Church, 345 Lyle at York, on Wednesday,  November 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.  Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church www.familyofparishes.ca Bladder Cancer Canada https://bladdercancercanada.org    Online condolences & Guest Book at www.oneilfuneralhome.ca
