Peacefully at Parkwood Institute, London, on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, Wiktor "Victor" Kobarda in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Krystyna Kobarda (1992). Dear father of John Kobarda (Janice) and Andrew Kobarda (Sandra). Loving grandfather of Kelly (Chris), Steven (Kayla), Justin and Jason. Also survived by his sister Ana in Poland. Victor served with the British 8th Army Polish Corps and was wounded at the Battle of Monte Cassino; he was one of the ever decreasing heroes of that famous battle considered one of the most important battles of WW II. Victor was also held in a Prisoner of War Camp in Russia for 2 years. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Friday, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated in the St. Dismas Chapel, O'Neil Funeral Home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment in St. Peter's Cemetery, London.
