Wladyslaw Przewieda

On Monday, July 22, 2013, at McGarrell Place on his 91st birthday, Wladyslaw "Walter" Przewieda peacefully passed away. Predeceased by his wife Peggy Przewieda (2009) . Loving father of Dawna, Ted (Theresa) and Mark (Terri). Proud grandfather of Tiffany, Tanya, Tricia, Marc, Mitchell and Kristie. Great-grandfather of Noah, Max and Charlie. Predeceased by his first born son Tadziu (1954), his daughter Dana (1952), and his siblings Staszek, Tadeusz, Mieczyslaw and Jasia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A WW II Veteran, Walter served in the Polish II Corps of the British Army and was a survivor of the Battle of Monte Casino (Italy, 1944). Walter was proud of his Polish heritage and was a founding member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish and the Polish Combatants Association (SPK). Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William St. on Tuesday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 419 Hill St. on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
